When I started my blog back in 2016, I simply wanted to write to clear my mind of all that we were experiencing as a family on our Autism journey. At that point I did not think that other websites would be interested in my ramblings.
But low and behold I have since been asked to write posts for other blogs and have had articles published on other well known sites. This has been a very humbling experience to be a published writer on sites such as The Mighty and Scary Mommy, as I have always been an admirer (from a distance) of these sites and of writers who have opened up about their life experiences. It has also been humbling being featured on the blogs of others - the world wide blogging community is generally a very tight knit community and we all support each other.
So I thought that I would add a round-up of my articles and posts that have been published outside of my own blog. I do hope that in the future I can add to this round-up!
Michelle from over Mummying My Way ran a series on Mental Health Awareness throughout the month of March in 2018. The concept behind the series was to raise awareness of various mental health issues. I wrote two pieces for this series - the first was in relation to O's anxiety and the second was based on my own experiences with Post Natal Depression. The series is absolutely brilliant and features people from all walks of life.
I am incredibly proud to say that I am a contributor on The Mighty. The Mighty is a collective group of amazing editors and contributors who have come together to share their stories and experiences on disabilities, disease and mental health issues. Each and every time that I've received an email to say that I one of my articles has been published, I literally leap for joy. It is a truly wonderful feeling. To date I have six articles that have been published on The Mighty. You can check out all of my articles using this link.

I was fortunate enough to have one of my Mighty posts republished on the Scary Mommy site. For those not familiar with Scary Mommy, their homepage says it all ....
"We are the history makers and the memory keepers,
We are the snot catchers and the ass wipers.
We've seen it all, heard it all, and smelled it all,
but we wouldn't have it any other way.
We are millions of unique women, united by motherhood.
We are scary, and we are proud."
I am proud to have an article published on Scary Mommy - you can visit this article via this link!
I have also had an article published on Raising World Children. This site is an amazing multicultural collection of people from all walks of life and as the site description states it is a place where cultures meet parenting. I was asked to write a post on Autism awareness, so here it is!

I've also been featured on two other blogs. The first was over at For the Love of Mom in a round up post on self care tips - look for the entry that says "Time to look after Me!" The second was over at SAHM Plus in a series that discussed the different hobbies that Mums have.
